It’s safe to say that Timothy Cook, M.D., FACOG, has delivered a lot of babies at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital (LKH) over the past 35 years. The number of young lives he has helped bring into this world just hit 6,000 with the birth of Scarlett weighing 10 pounds and measuring 22 inches.
“6,000 births is a major milestone and I am happy to be a part of one of the most important moments that a parent experiences. It is truly a joy and now I am seeing second generation deliveries. Serving area moms and babies is a very rewarding profession,” said Dr. Cook who has been delivering babies in this community since 1988.
“We are honored to celebrate this remarkable milestone with Dr. Cook. He makes a positive impact in our community every day that goes well beyond providing quality OB/GYN care. We are proud to have him on the Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital medical team,” said Lynn Mergen, CEO, LKH.
In addition to his highly regarded obstetrics care, Dr. Cook provides gynecologic care for women of all ages, from adolescents to women in their reproductive years to those entering menopause and beyond. His services range from preventive care, contraception and infertility evaluations to pregnancy care and surgical procedures. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures, including robotic-assisted surgery. Dr. Cook is a fellow of The College of Obstetricians & Gynecology and board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
