7/10/2016
Patients and visitors are encouraged to use free valet parking service
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (July 11, 2016) - St. Joseph Hospital officials announced that today begins the last of three phases of a campus parking garage renovation. The garage will remain open for the duration of the project, but the total number of the 333 spaces will be reduced temporarily by 160 during construction.
Patients and visitors are strongly encouraged to use the free valet parking service. Valet parking is available at the hospital's main entrance Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
New parking lanes will also be painted as part of the renovation, which is expected to be complete by mid-September.
The final phase of the three-year project focuses on the center section of the parking garage, mainly the cross ramps. The phases of work on the four-level garage have included improvements to its north, middle and south sections, respectively.
