July 24 LKH Community Health Talk: We All Fall Down
7/15/2025
Think Proactively to Prevent Injury!
It happens to everyone: we trip. We fall. On a good day, we get up again and move on. What do we do to prevent major breaks when we fall at any age? Discover how you can think proactively to prevent injury from a fall at the next LKH Community Health session on Thursday, July 24, from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. in the LKH Administration Classroom, 2101 E. DuBois Dr., Warsaw.
Join Matt Hauck, director of physical therapy as he talks about the best way to prevent a major injury when falling. He will also discuss what to do when in a position where you've fallen, you might have broken something, or you cannot get up. Additionally, Matt will talk about fall-proofing your environment to prevent a major tumble.
A question and answer session will follow the presentation. The LKH Community Health Series is held monthly at LKH in the hospital administration classroom, 2101 E. Dubois Drive in Warsaw. The series features medical experts who educate and encourage community members to live a healthy lifestyle. Those interested in attending can call 260-435-7787 or email CommunityRelations@LHN.net.
