Lutheran Health Physicians adds three new providers

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Jan. 17, 2018) – Lutheran Health Physicians has recently welcomed three new providers to its growing list of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Simran Arora, MD, is a primary care physician for men, women and children of all ages. Dr. Arora provides multiple types of services including preventive and chronic care. She also treats various acute illnesses.

Dr. Arora received her medical degree from Medical University of Lublin, in Lublin, Poland, in 2012. She joined Lutheran Health Physicians after completing her family medicine residency at Altru Health System in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She is fluent in multiple languages and has a special interest in women's health and basic orthopedic and dermatologic care.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Arora is located at 7938 W. Jefferson Blvd., on the Lutheran Hospital campus.

William Oh, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon dedicated to the treatment of injuries and conditions associated with the body's muscles and skeleton, including the joints, ligaments, nerves and tendons.

Dr. Oh received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, and fellowships in hand surgery and sports medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Prior to joining Lutheran Health Physicians, Dr. Oh worked as an orthopedic surgeon in private practices and previously served as the orthopedic trauma director at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio.

Dr. Oh is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
He is based in Bluffton at 303 S. Main St. in Bluffton Regional Medical Center.

Sydni Burton, FNP-BC, is nurse practitioner specializing in bariatric surgery. As a nurse practitioner, Burton assists surgeons during weight loss procedures. She cares for patients before and after surgery and prescribes necessary medications.

Burton graduated from Anderson University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2012. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree and nurse practitioner certification from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2016.

Burton joined Lutheran Health Physicians after serving as a registered nurse in Fort Wayne and Louisville, Kentucky. She worked in several roles as a nurse in the oncology intensive care unit at University of Louisville Hospital, and as a public health nurse for the Allen County Department of Health. After becoming a nurse practitioner, she cared for oncology/hematology patients in Richmond, Indiana.

Burton is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Indiana and the Oncology Nursing Society.
She is based at 7910 W. Jefferson Blvd., Suite 112, on the Lutheran Hospital campus.
