Medically-supervised weight loss options on display during 12-hour open house March 15
Lutheran Weight Management Center team available for individual Q&A
Fort Wayne, Ind. (Wednesday, March 1, 2017) – Lutheran Hospital’s Weight Management Center is hosting an open house Wednesday, March 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone can receive a personalized metabolic profile, tour the facility and meet staff including a registered dietitian, an exercise specialist, a behaviorist and members of the center’s leadership team. Dale Sloan, MD, surgical medical director of the Lutheran Bariatric Center, will also be available to answer questions for part of the day.
“We want to give everyone the chance to meet our friendly staff, see the facility, and most importantly, learn about the wide range of weight loss options we support,” said Chris Rich, RN, manager, Bariatric and Weight Management centers, Lutheran Hospital.

A dietitian is available to answer questions regarding simple food choice changes and the impact of portion control. Also, attendees can learn about the new dual intragastric balloon option and other non-surgical procedures, in addition to the surgical options available through the Lutheran Bariatric Center.
An Optifast® representative will also have information about new flavors just released this month which feature decreased sugar and increased protein.
The Lutheran Weight Management Center is located at the back corner of the Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne, 7970 W. Jefferson Blvd., on the Lutheran Hospital campus. Attendees are asked to enter door #4. Questions about the open house should be directed to (260) 435-7844, option 1.
