Bluffton Regional Associates Make Donations to Santa’s Workshop and Wells County Food Bank
Bluffton, IN – Bluffton Regional associates recently held a holiday food and toy drive in the hopes of making the holiday brighter for fellow community members in need. Boxes filled with canned goods and many non-perishable items were donated to the Wells County Food Bank. Toys an monetary donations were given to the United Way of Wells County for Santa’s Workshop.
“With the holiday season upon us, there are people in our community who struggle to make ends meet. Our mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve; and that means more than just providing healthcare services,” said Larry DeBolt, Bluffton Regional Chief Financial Officer. “Giving back to and serving our community is what it’s all about.”
According to Jodi Pfister, Volunteer Coordinator at the Wells County Food Bank, the bank served 350 people last week with the help of 28 volunteers who helped organize and distribute the food. Santa’s Workshop provides Christmas gifts to children and adults ages 65 and over who are in need.
