Large Christmas Village to be Assembled Monday
Annual display at Dupont Hospital has doubled in size since 2004
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Nov. 2, 2012) – What began as a one-time loan to Dupont Hospital nearly a decade ago has turned into an annual sign that the holidays are just around the corner. A porcelain Christmas village donated to Dupont for community enjoyment by local ob-gyn Todd Rumsey, MD, and his wife, Barbara, is scheduled to be assembled in the hospital’s main lobby Monday, Nov. 5.
The Rumseys are expected to help with the village’s construction from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday. Nearly 350 man-hours are needed to complete the extensive village, which fills a large section of Dupont’s lobby and includes lights and moving parts.
Dr. Rumsey is a member of Women’s Health Advantage and the board chairman at Dupont Hospital.
