Vendor Policy
 

All non-surgical vendors should contact their individual Lutheran Health Network facility for information regarding the local vendor access policy.

General Information for all Vendors
Lutheran Health Network is aligned with HealthTrust Purchasing Group, a group purchasing organization. As such, purchasing of supplies and services is done in compliance with contracts negotiated at the national level through our corporate parent, Community Health Systems, Franklin, TN.
 
Prospective vendors are encouraged to visit the Health Trust Purchasing Group website, HealthTrustpg.com for more information.

Dear Surgical Vendors:

Based on standards and recommendations from The Joint Commission, AORN, ACS and the CDC, Lutheran Health Network is now required to credential all healthcare-industry representatives who access the facility.

In order to facilitate this process, CHS and Lutheran Health Network have partnered with Vendor Clear, an independent online vendor credentialing service.

All surgical and patient-care vendors will be required to participate in this service to comply with the Lutheran Health Network/CHS vendor policy.

Lutheran Health Network vendors can visit VendorClear.com beginning Oct. 15, 2009 to become credentialed. Surgical vendors not registered with Vendor Clear by Dec. 1, 2009 will not be allowed access to the facility.
