Dupont Hospital opened in April 2001. Due to increasing demand for the hospital's services, Dupont underwent a major expansion just five years later, in 2006. Throughout, physicians have been instrumental in the hospital's growth and governance. Dupont now offers 131 beds with 13 operating rooms, three endoscopy rooms, two C-section rooms, a special procedures room, 10-bed ICU, level III NICU, and 64-slice and 16-slice CT scanners. As a full-service acute care hospital, Dupont Hospital offers care for the entire family with inpatient and outpatient services, and 24/7 emergency services with board-certified physicians.

In early 2010, Dupont Hospital began offering even more advanced cardiac services, including a full cath lab, through the patient-oriented partnership Lutheran Heart at Dupont Hospital.
