The Rehabilitation Hospital is a 36-bed comprehensive medical rehabilitation hospital designed to treat the acute needs of individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness. A physician and interdisciplinary team work with each patient and his or her family to provide an individualized rehabilitation treatment plan. Rehabilitation Hospital offers the latest rehabilitation equipment, a large inpatient therapy gym, activities of daily living area, a transitional living apartment, private and semi-private rooms and a heated indoor therapeutic pool with lift-assist entry. The Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne has earned its fourth consecutive three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for its Inpatient Rehabilitation Program. It is the region's first CARF accredited Stroke Specialty Program.

Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Wayne specializes in rehabilitating individuals, both adolescents and adults, who have experienced some of the following conditions/diagnoses: orthopaedic (fractures, amputations), stroke, neurological disorders (spinal cord injury, Guillain Barre, multiple sclerosis), multiple trauma and brain injury.
