We Commit to Healthier Communities
The hospitals of Lutheran Health Network have a long history of innovation. Our commitment to reinvesting in our people and technology is balanced by the investments we make in our communities. Whether it's volunteering to help clean up a school playground, or supporting an organization that's making a difference in the lives of families, we're committed to creating healthy, vibrant communities so we can continue to grow as a region.
By contributing $15,555,080 of tax dollars to our regional economy, we're helping to create opportunities for growth. From education and social services to infrastructure and economic development, Lutheran Health Network's tax dollars are hard at work ensuring the communities we serve are thriving.
Every day, THOUSANDS of Lutheran Health Network employees deliver on their commitment to provide quality care. Many team members continue their commitment by volunteering or supporting community organizations like the Red Cross of Northeast Indiana, United Way, Matthew 25 and more.
In 2011, the hospitals of Lutheran Health Network donated $8,506,734 to organizations and initiatives- including the AIDS Task Force, Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, Fort Wayne Children's Zoo and more- that improve the quality of life, community wellness and economic vitality of our region.
